SUMMARY:Mystic Fest
DESCRIPTION:Mystic Fest is a long-running metaphysical gathering serving the Omaha and Council Bluffs area\, bringing together readers\, healers\, spiritual practitioners\, vendors\, and curious visitors for a weekend focused on exploration\, learning\, and community. \nHeld at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs\, Iowa\, Mystic Fest takes place twice each year\, with spring and fall events. The Fall 2026 Mystic Fest is scheduled for October 3 and 4\, giving visitors two days to explore a wide range of metaphysical and spiritual traditions. \nGuests can meet psychic readers\, tarot readers\, mediums\, energy workers\, healers\, and other practitioners offering services throughout the weekend. Visitors interested in readings can browse the available readers and schedule sessions directly at their booths. Those hoping to meet with a particular reader are encouraged to sign up early. \nShopping is another major part of the Mystic Fest experience. Vendors offer crystals\, books\, jewelry\, herbs\, teas\, spiritual supplies\, metaphysical tools\, gifts\, artwork\, and other unique items. The variety makes the event an excellent place to discover new creators\, small businesses\, and resources from the regional metaphysical community. \nEducation also plays an important role at Mystic Fest. Lectures are offered throughout the weekend and are included with admission. Previous topics have explored subjects such as astrology\, chakras\, intuition\, spirit communication\, weather magic\, bind-runes\, meditation\, healing\, and other spiritual practices. \nMystic Fest welcomes experienced practitioners as well as people who are simply curious about metaphysical subjects. You do not need to follow a particular spiritual path to attend. You can shop\, attend lectures\, meet practitioners\, ask questions\, or spend the day exploring. \nThe Fall 2026 Mystic Fest takes place October 3 and 4 at the Mid-America Center Exhibit Hall in Council Bluffs. Admission is $5 per day\, with children 10 and under admitted free. \n

SUMMARY:Cottonwood Convergence at Rock Creek ReTreet Center Brings Community and Connection to Life
DESCRIPTION:The Cottonwood Convergence is set to become one of the most meaningful fall gatherings for those drawn to connection\, growth\, and shared experience. Hosted at Rock Creek ReTreet Center\, this event offers more than a place to gather. It offers a space where you can slow down\, connect with others\, and feel grounded in a setting designed for reflection and renewal. \nRock Creek ReTreet Center has been opening its doors since 2020\, inviting people into a space that values different perspectives and lived experiences. The land itself plays an active role. With open skies\, flowing water\, and quiet natural surroundings\, you feel a sense of calm as soon as you arrive. Visitors often describe a noticeable shift in their mood and focus after spending time on the grounds. \nThe Cottonwood Convergence builds on that energy. This seasonal gathering brings together seekers\, healers\, educators\, and curious minds who want to learn and connect. At the center of the event stands a large cottonwood tree\, a natural meeting point where conversations grow and new ideas take shape. It creates a setting where people can share openly and build real connections. \nOne highlight of the event is the vendor trail set along an Osage treeline that dates back to the late 1800s. As you walk the path\, you will meet dozens of practitioners and artisans offering services and handmade goods. This includes metaphysical tools\, holistic services\, and natural wellness products. Each stop along the trail offers a chance to learn something new and connect with both the vendor and the environment around you. \nThe Cottonwood Convergence is a place where you can step away from daily noise and focus on what matters. You will leave with new connections\, fresh ideas\, and a stronger sense of belonging.
